GLOBAL SHOES - leading trade show for sourcing
To make your stay in Düsseldorf and your work at the fair as pleasant as possible we would like to provide you with some information on accreditation and the services offered at our Press Center.
The Press Center will be located on the first floor of the fair tower. According to the GDS and GLOBAL SHOES opening hours the Press Center will be open 30 minutes before the fairs start and 30 minutes after fairs closure.   
At the Press Center you have access to the following services:
 PC work stations with printers and Internet access
 W-Lan
 Exhibitors’ pigeon holes
 Digital press kits
 Photo CDs (1st version available from approx. 12 noon on Saturday of the trade fair, 2nd version available by surface mail after the event) and further photos can be ordered on demand
 Catering
 Lockers
 Wardrobe (unattended)
Credentials:
Press:

Copy of valid and acknowledged press credentials or any other evidence of your editorial work by means of:
 Confirmation from the editor-in-chief / department head
 Reference copy stating your name in the Publisher’s Note plus your passport
 Concrete job order issued by an editor (for freelancers)
 Extract from features covering fashion / lifestyle, trade fairs, business or GDS/GLOBAL SHOES stating your name (for freelancers) plus your passport
Photographers/ TV Teams
 Job order issued by an editor / a broadcasting station Permission to film and take photos      Can be obtained from Christina Grell (Press Consultant for Radio/TV)
 Accreditation as described above

Accreditation Deposit at the Counter:
 You can also have your press card deposited for you at the accreditation counter in the administrative tower. Please advise us accordingly. Pre-event card deposit is restricted to trade press and TV. The following persons are excluded from press card issuance:
 Journalists and editors without valid press or editorial credentials
 Journalists who exclusively use broadcasting options of an open channel  
 Publisher’s representatives such as advertising managers (upon presentation of your business card and credentials proving employment by this publisher you may purchase admission tickets at all open cashier’s desks)
 PR agents who are not attending to an exhibitor during the trade fair (representatives of PR agencies looking after exhibitors on the fair grounds able to produce an official confirmation letter from their clients will receive an honorary ticket granting admission) We would also like to point out that prior inclusion in our press mailing list does not equal automatic issue of a press card. 
                   
Parking:
Should you be travelling to the fair by car, please have your journalist’s ID or editorial credentials ready. The staff at the multi-storey P4 press car park near the administrative towers is instructed to only accept these legitimisations. To get to car park P4 turn into Stockumer Kirchstraße.
